Classroom Selection

Hi all,

Well done on making it through Term 1 (Families & Students!).

The year group as a whole is very settled and it is great to see. At this stage I would like to say a big thank you to all the Form Teachers: Ms Dorricott, Mr Cameron, Mr Grimwood, Ms Martin, Ms Atkinson, and Miss Waller for all their fantastic work. In their roles they have been supported by our wonderful Year Level Deputy Principal Ms Deb King.

Below is a final selection of students in the classroom. Thanks Emma Chang and Chelsea Laing for these great pics. In this update we have Soft Technology (currently sewing together monsters!), students reciting their Mihi's in Health, and a very technology driven Science class.

Here's to a good Term. My inside tip for Term 2 is to ensure you get tickets to the school musical Hairspray which hits the stage in week 5. It is going to be a blast!

P.E Fitness Testing

In 9DR this week we have started our final lot of fitness testing for the Term. Fitness testing is designed to track our fitness at the start and end of the Term to see if we’ve improved. It involves a range of tests including a sit and reach, standing broad jumps, vertical jumps and of course the beep test. Here are some pictures from our Tuesday P.E session.
