Polyclub Performance

Yesterday our entire school was treated to a performance from our school Polyclub as they prepare for this Friday's Polyfest at Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua. We have two very talented Year 9 students who are in Polyclub and they are Zion Godwin and Lino Kelekolio. The performance was spectacular and it was a chance to show off hours of work put in by this awesome group of students. They were supported by whanau, friends and teachers for the backing music (lots of Pacific drum beats & Ukuleles!). They performed for well over 10 minutes. We wish them luck this Friday as they take on other Wellington schools in a huge day for our local community. Enjoy a few pics and video below. My advice is to turn the volume up loud and enjoy the amazing sights and sounds of this extraordinary bunch of students.

Form Class Table Tennis

Hi all,

Welcome back to Term 3- At the end of last Term we had an inter-form class table tennis competition, where 2 students from each class competed in a round robin format to decide on which class was the champions. Congratulations to our 1st place individual winner, Brandon Ru. He narrowly beat Aaron Leota in an epic final. Also big congrats to Abbie Law for finishing as the highest placing female (beating a few of those overly-confident boys it must be said!). It was a pleasure to host the event over two lunchtimes; a big thank you to all involved and the form reps for offering a hand with set-up.

Unfortunately the photos I took have mysteriously gone AWOL (not to sure what happened there), however, below is an updated points table for our inter-form class sports competition. It is currently tied at the top between 9WR and 9CN. It is fantastic to see all classes getting the maximum amount of Bonus Points for participation and involvement.

Next up is Football and Chess later this Term.
